Lining pipes requires precision and the use of materials that can withstand high loads. In a recent project, a pipe with a diameter of 700 mm was lined with 10 mm thick PUCEST®. The process was carried out carefully and step by step to ensure a seamless, homogeneous surface.
Individual segments of the pipe are coated one after the other with the highly abrasion-resistant PUCEST material. Instead of fastening the plates mechanically, they are bonded securely and permanently with a special adhesive. This method prevents the formation of screw heads, which could provide additional surfaces for wear, and guarantees a completely smooth surface.
PUCEST pipe lining is designed to adapt to specific requirements. The lining can be manufactured for pipe segments in various sizes and bends, enabling flexible application in complex systems.
The advantages of PUCEST pipe lining
The result of the bonding process is a seamless, homogeneous surface that not only offers perfect wear protection but also optimizes material flow. The PUCEST® lining is extremely resistant to abrasion, impact, and corrosion. The material's long service life drastically extends maintenance intervals, leading to a significant reduction in downtime and operating costs.
With PUCEST pipe lining, companies are investing in a sustainable and efficient solution that ensures the long-term performance of their plants.
