A worn-out paddle mixer can quickly become a problem. A worn mixer bottom and an old discharge chute lead to inefficient mixing and increase downtime. To restore the performance of a concrete mixer and make it future-proof, a comprehensive refurbishment is necessary.
The experts at PUCEST recently carried out such a refurbishment, which optimized the mixing process and significantly increased the service life of the mixer. The work began with the dismantling of the old mixing tools. The worn mixer floor was then chiseled out and the entire surface thoroughly sanded to create an optimal base for the new components.
The PUCEST assembly team precisely installed the new mixer floor. To protect the discharge hopper from future wear, it was fitted with a special PUCEST lining. The swirler gearbox was also equipped with special PUCEST wear protection.
Thanks to the PUCEST installation team, the work was carried out quickly and flexibly. Now the concrete mixer is running perfectly with its new floor and PUCEST lining. The comprehensive renovation has proven that old equipment can be brought up to date with the right materials and professional installation.
