Professional exchange in a relaxed atmosphere

The 9th edition of the popular PUCEST in-house exhibition celebrated a minor anniversary on October 14, 2025. A total of around 150 interested parties and professionals from the field of wear protection took advantage of the opportunity to exchange knowledge, experience, and best practices again this year. The in-house exhibition of PUCEST protect GmbH, which has now become a tradition, once again attracted curious visitors from across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland this year.

The evening before had already provided a successful start: over 80 people eager to exchange ideas met at the "get-together" for convivial conversations, accompanied by live music and regional specialties. In a relaxed atmosphere, initial contacts were made and topics were raised that were to be explored in greater depth the following day. The in-house exhibition offers the perfect platform for the practical presentation of both innovative and tried-and-tested solutions – in an equally informal atmosphere: friendly and unvarnished. It is precisely for this unvarnished truth, which always offers solutions and optimizations, that Detlef Bauer and his entire team are valued: authenticity and reliable cooperation – exactly what is needed in this industry. Solutions that are not the same for every system, but are optimal for every situation. And to find exactly these individual solutions, reliable partnerships are needed in which everyone works together and trusts each other's expertise.

When everyone pitches in...

Detlef Bauer knows this too. On Tuesday morning, he opened the PUCEST in-house exhibition with a warm welcome and then handed over to the partner companies so that they could give a brief insight into their expertise. Many of them have been attending the in-house exhibition for years – such as SSAB-Hardox, a manufacturer of high-quality wear plates, and Sauter GmbH, which specializes in automation in the concrete industry. Also represented were Skako with innovative vibration solutions for bulk materials and Agrichema, whose "loud solution" for the bulk materials industry was presented by Christian Braun with tongue-in-cheek charm. Bergauer, an expert in the regeneration of wear parts, and WAM, a supplier of bulk material handling components, once again presented themselves as reliable partners.

New additions to the PUCEST cooperation family this year were Lamb, the major ball bearing manufacturer with its components for rolling bearing, linear, and drive technology, and the family-owned company Stampfer in the field of plant engineering, specializing in customized conveyor technology for bulk materials. Ziller Holding, which focuses on software-supported maintenance, also made a special contribution—an answer to the question of how plants can be operated efficiently despite a shortage of skilled workers. Jan Reininger from the patent and law firm adares reminded attendees that a company's long-term success depends not only on patents, but also on brand management and quality. Mobility was also taken care of: Murat Popal from MAN presented the panel vans specially equipped for PUCEST. The presence of selected cooperation partners is always a highlight of the popular in-house exhibition. It gives visitors an even more comprehensive view of current technologies and services in the field of material transport and plant optimization and perfectly complements the range of products and services offered by PUCEST protect GmbH.

From theory to practice

But the PUCEST in-house exhibition would not be a real PUCEST in-house exhibition if it were limited to theory and presentations. The special appeal lies in active participation: in practical workshops, participants were able to try things out for themselves, experiment, and share experiences. The goal: to identify concrete ways to optimize processes, reduce downtime, and protect machines in the long term.

A real highlight was the specially organized mixing drum, equipped with the versatile universal mixing arm from PUCEST. Not only did it offer guests a realistic insight into optimal wear protection, but it also became a central meeting place for technical discussions. At the surrounding stations, participants were able to experience the special properties of PUCEST materials—abrasion resistance, elasticity, and shock absorption—up close. The workshop on hopper lining with PUCEST wear protection plates was particularly popular, where small tricks from everyday practice were also revealed – such as how Tipp-Ex can be used for other purposes. Creativity remains a key skill in everyday technical work. In addition, the team demonstrated the application of PUCEST Tix filler, from mixing to the ideal mixing ratio. Equally popular were the sessions on welding wear-resistant steels and on the application of PUCEST easycleaner – a high-pressure cleaning system that makes the laborious cleaning of concrete mixers much more efficient.

There was a lively atmosphere everywhere, with intense discussions and practical expertise on display. The PUCEST team was tirelessly available to answer questions, provide individual tips, and offer practical assistance. At the end of the day, the conclusion was often unanimous: an all-around successful trade fair that once again demonstrated the value of open professional exchange, technical expertise, and cooperative partnerships.

We conducted short interviews to find out what specific conclusions those present drew about the PUCEST in-house exhibition 2025.

Comments from the PUCEST in-house exhibition 2025:

"It was a really successful event, with a good size and interesting presentation. The various topics in which wear protection plays a role were also interesting. We have two easy cleaners ourselves and are very satisfied. We'd love to come back."

"The response was good, visitor numbers were good. We have grown every year. This year to over 140 people. Once again, interesting topics were presented and I am taking a lot of inspiration with me for next year. It is a really good platform. I would particularly like to thank the team and the entire staff who made this possible by joining forces. I am truly grateful!"

"We use a lot of Pucest ourselves and have had fewer downtimes since then, plus everything can be changed quickly. It's always an informative event. The surroundings here are also really beautiful. Every year we gather new ideas, every year there is something new. This year, for example, the mixer on display. It was really interesting and informative for us."

"It was the perfect meeting place for the topic of wear protection. We simply need this trade fair for that. It brings together many exhibitors and customers. It also provides an opportunity to talk and enjoy good food. It's simply a relaxed atmosphere that also ensures that you come into contact with many people whom you would not otherwise meet in your everyday work, simply because of the different areas of work. At the same time, you can see first-hand how the products are used. And this direct contact also gives you immediate feedback from customers. This also helps with the further development of the products."
