Mixer blades and scraper bars are subject to very high wear in concrete mixers and therefore need to be replaced frequently. The use of highly wear-resistant material is particularly worthwhile here. One result of professional development processes is our durable, wear-resistant mixer blade with carbide edge. These new PUCEST products with carbide reinforcement are unique in their properties and offer effective protection against friction and impact wear. They close the gap between fast wearing chilled cast products and expensive cast products with carbide components.
The patented mixing blade combines the advantages of the PUCEST material with the benefits of carbide components. This means that the products are able to absorb and flexibly avoid any impact. The carbide flakes of the carbide carrier plate form a protective layer in particularly stressed areas and protect the blades from wear caused by abrasive mixed material. The result is a significantly longer service life as well as time and cost savings due to fewer tool changes. The initial tests were very promising. The mixing shovel was used in spring 2023 in a concrete plant with an annual throughput of over 100,000 m3. The results are impressive:

The PUCEST shovel with carbide edge has far exceeded our expectations. The shovel was only replaced at the end of December 2023, the result is excellent and our customer was very satisfied.
